Customer Email Settings

The Customer Email Settings section allows merchants to fully customize the email templates sent to customers for different actions across the loyalty program. This ensures consistent branding and communication with personalized messages and visual elements.

Email Template Categories (Tabs) #

The email settings are split into three main tabs, each dedicated to different types of notifications:

1. Points Email #

Templates for loyalty point-related events:

  • Sign Up Email (first reward welcome)
  • Purchase Email
  • Redeem Email
  • Birthday Email
  • Social Share Email
  • Refund Email

2. Referral Email #

Templates for referral events:

  • Referee Email – Sent when a referee receives a discount for using a referral link.
  • Referrer Email – Sent when a referrer gets a reward after a successful referral.

3. Other Email #

  • Reward Expiry Warning Email – Notifies customers before their points expire.

Common Template Configuration #

All email templates follow the same format and fields for consistency.
The layout includes:

  • Left Side: Configuration fields
  • Right Side: Live preview
  • Top Right Corner: Send Test Email button

Editable Fields #

Email SubjectRequired field – sets the subject line
Email BodyRequired field – rich text editor with formatting options
Header Image URLAdd an image at the top of the email (Recommended: 1024×600 px)
Button TextText shown on the call-to-action button (e.g., “Visit Store”)
Button URLRedirect URL for the button (defaults to merchant store if left empty)
Button ColorCustomize the background color of the button
Button Text ColorCustomize the text color on the button

Mandatory Fields: Email Subject and Email Body
Optional: Header image, button customization


Send Test Email #

Use the “Send Test Email” button at the top-right to preview the final design in your inbox before going live. It helps validate formatting, images, colors, and dynamic tags.
